Did you ever wonder, "ya know what the Focus RS needs? Bright orange ASBO paint". Well wonder no longer! Ford is releasing a limited run of 50 cars to celebrate 50 years of the RS badge. Ford has announced today that the final 50 Focus RS cars that roll off the production line at Saarlouis plant in Germany will be 'Heritage edition' models with all the best bits of the RS rolled into one scrumptious orange package.

-change to more than one sentence- Okay we wont bore you too much with the specs as you probably know about the performance of the RS by now. That being said, this Heritage Edition version comes with some very juicy bits of kit.

The RS Heritage Edition features black-forged alloy wheels and grey-finish brake calipers, contrasting black door mirrors and rear spoiler, partial leather Recaro seats and carbon fibre trim. Plus a mechanical Quaife limited-slip front differential and the FPM375 Mountune power upgrade. Like we said, all the best bits! Now onto the colour, yes it's ASBO orange. Yes, it's garish and completely unnecessary, but we don't care. Why? Because if this is the Focus RS' last 'hurrah' it might as well let its hair down and do what ever it wants. Let us not forget that the car to start the RS badge off, the infamous Escort, also came in a wide verity of bright and wonderful colors.

Okay, admittedly that is 'Sebring Red', but it looks orange in certain light so we're counting it.

In addition to the Deep Orange exterior colour, the Heritage Edition comes equipped with partial leather Recaro seats, privacy glass, a sunroof, rear parking sensors, power-fold door mirrors, cruise control with speed limiter and heated steering wheel.

The Heritage Edition also gains the dealer-fitted FPM375 Mountune upgrade, increasing overboost power from 345bph to 370bhp, thanks to a high-flow induction kit, uprated turbo re-circulating valve and calibration.

The RS Heritage Edition will be priced at £39,895.
